Obtain A Repeat Prescription?
• Telephone requests are NOT accepted
• Hand-written additions will NOT be issued
• Only order repeats when you have one week's medication left
• Tick required items on the repeat slip attached to your prescription
• Nobody will be offended if you do not order every item
• If the repeat slip is lost, hand-written requests must include:
name, address, date of birth, name of drug and the dose you are taking
When Can I Collect My Repeat Prescription?
Repeat slip brought in: Collect prescription after 11.30am on:
Monday Wednesday morning
Tuesday Thursday
Wednesday morning Friday
Thursday Monday
Friday Tuesday
NB: not including bank holidays
Please make an appointment around the review date which appears on your prescription.
Hospital outpatients' prescriptions should be collected from the hospital pharmacy. Otherwise, they will be ready within one week. In the case of privately issued hospital prescriptions, these should be taken directly to a pharmacy as they are not issued under NHS guidelines.
If collecting repeat medications directly from the pharmacist, please allow 72 hours.
