New Patient Registration
If you would like to register with the practice, please do so by visiting: www.gp-registration.nhs.uk.
To register as a new patient you will need to live within our practice boundary.
Please help us to process your registration quickly by obtaining your NHS number from your previous GP practice. We encourage whole family registration wherever possible regarding any children in that household/parents/carers should all be registered at same practice.
When a child registers, we actively check parents are also registered, and if an adult is removed by the practice, then policy reflects children will be too, to promote whole family registration. You do not need proof of ID to register with a GP but you will be asked to produce this if you wish to sign up to use online patient services. If you’re homeless, you can give a temporary address, such as a friend’s address, a day centre or the GP surgery address.
If you do not live within our practice boundary you may be able to register with Didsbury Medical Practice. (Please note this is not a recommendation, Didsbury Medical Practice is not affiliated with Barlow Medical Centre).
Temporary Residents
We will be happy to see any friends or relatives staying with you for emergencies if they need to see a doctor, as temporary residents.
