Dear Patient,
As per NHS England’s advice to all GP practices, we are moving to an online. First triage system from Wednesday 8th April. The callback service will then be only for those patients who are unwell on that day, or who cannot use a mobile phone.
All other issues should be logged in the most appropriate section of this website first, or via the Patient Access app if already registered for online access. Online registration is not required to use this service, but does have many benefits for the patient and helps improve safety and administrative efficiency at our end. See the following link for further details:
The website is fully accessible from a mobile phone, tablet or computer, and medical queries for the doctors will be answered the same day if logged in the morning, or next working day if logged in the afternoon, evening or at weekends. Queries will be answered with a call back when necessary.
Choose the most appropriate virtual room for your problem depending on its nature, eg clinical problems in “consulting room”, medication related queries in the “medicines & prescriptions centre”, or administrative queries in “reception & enquiries” or “administrative office”
This system will help us deliver a safer and more efficient service to all of our patients, as well as providing a more convenient platform for patients to log queries and problems with us.
Patients who are unable to use a mobile phone can still contact us by telephone in the usual way.
Thank you for your help and understanding at this difficult time for the NHS.
Best regards and stay safe,
Barlow Medical Centre
